The 2006 El Dorado Golden Rose, Lois E. (Keeff) Raymond passed away Nov. 11, 2010, after a short illness. She is survived by her husband of 65 years, Hal; four children; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Lois was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, in 1926 where her family lived since the early 1900s. Lois became a Navy wife in Hawaii in 1945 and lived in many places in the U.S. and abroad. She worked at the College of San Mateo until her retirement, then moved to El Dorado where she donated her time to the El Dorado County Historical Museum. Lois will be laid to rest in Honolulu, Hawaii.
