Oct. 8, 1924 – June 10, 2012
Louise Orofino was born on Oct. 8, 1924, in the small village of Vitznau, Switzerland. She immigrated to the United States in 1948. She lived most of her life in West Los Angeles and recently moved to Cameron Park to be close to her family.
Louise was preceeded in death by her husband, Alfredo Orofino. Louise will be remembered fondly for her generosity and hospitality. Louise passed away peacefully on June 10, 2012.
She is survived by her oldest son Chuck (Allison) and her son and constant companion, Paul. She leaves behind four grandchildren, Douglas, Sara, Spencer and Victoria.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Placerville on Tuesday, June 26, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Snowline Hospice or the Braille Institute of Sacramento.
