Nov. 1, 1953 — Dec. 20, 2012
Lynn Chandler, recent resident of Placerville, left us on Dec. 20, 2012, after a short battle with cancer. She was born in Kentucky and raised in Georgia. She was a beloved wife to George, mother to Megan and grandmother to Hailey. She was also a stepmother to Anthony and a caring friend to many who shared in her life. She came from a large family; she was the third daughter born to Eileen and Kelly Sentell, joining sisters Teri and Christy. That was followed by the births of three brothers, Kevin, Craig and Ken.
Lynn’s professional career was in the insurance industry. She spent many years with CSAA in the San Francisco Bay Area and most recently with Vaught, Wright & Bond, a local company. The love of Lynn’s life was her family. She planned the family vacations and loved the Lake Tahoe area. Her hobbies were reading, word puzzles and playing strategy games. She had a contagious laugh and two beautiful dimples that gave her the greatest smile.
A memorial service and life celebration will take place in Fremont at The Bridges Church on Jan. 12.
