Madalyn L. Pulliam passed away peacefully on Feb. 27, 2014, at Gold Country Health Center in Placerville at the age of 92. She was the beloved wife of the late Arden Pulliam (1980); loving mother of Sharon Richards, Tony Pulliam, Barbara Akin and the late Richard Pulliam; sister of Gary Pinkham; devoted grandmother of Melody, Clint, Destiny, Gina, Jana, Adam, Joshua, Kyle, Anneliese, Rory and Nate; and great-grandmother of three.
A native of Richmond, Maine, Madalyn lived in Placerville for the last 60 years. She was a faithful believer in Jesus Christ and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Placerville. She loved to write short stories and spend time with her family. She was an excellent Scrabble player and enjoyed completing the New York Times crossword puzzle on Sundays.
Private inurment has been held. Arrangements entrusted to Chapel of the Pines Funeral Home in Placerville.
