Margie Flener, 86, passed away after a lengthy illness on March 25, 2013. She was preceded in death by her husband of more than 35 years, Alvin. She was a loving mother of Beverly Foster and son Gregory Triplett (deceased). She is also survived by her grandchildren, Leah Di Roma (Michael), Cindy Lindsay (Don), Rick Foster (Holly), Christy Bollman (Todd), Shawna Brockmeier (Paul), Kelli Triplett, Kris Triplett and Stephanie; great-grandchildren, Morgan, Christa, Nicolas, Clara, Jacqueline and Siena; and great-great-grandchildren, Cadence and Joshua.
Margie worked at Thrifty Drug in Southern California for more than 25 years. She moved to Shingle Springs 15 years ago. Granny loved to garden, read and be surrounded by family. You could always count on her to participate in all the Foster activities, including dressing up for Halloween. She loved to play cards and her grandchildren considered her a card shark. She will be greatly missed by her family and is in the loving arms of our Lord now.
Graveside services will be at Green Valley Mortuary on Saturday, March 30, at 11 a.m. Online condolences and memories can be shared at greenvalleymortuary.com.
