Mark M. Nickel was born in Glendale, Calif., on March 24, 1942, and passed away in Citrus Heights, Calif., on Nov. 25, 2010. He worked as a pressman, editor and vocational instructor. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and photographer, and loved to cook for family and friends. This included canning all the delights of applesauce, jams and his Bosc pears.
Services will be held Dec. 5, at 12 p.m., at the American Exchange Hotel in Sutter Creek, Calif. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in Mark’s memory to The Kidney TRUST, 1350 Old Bayshore Highway, Suite 777, Burlingame, CA 94010, or online at kidneytrust.org/help/donate/.
