Aug. 3, 1935 — June 23, 2012
Marlene Fay Hohn (Wehe), born Aug. 3, 1935, in Modesto, Calif., passed away peacefully on June 23, 2012. She was the loving wife of 57 years of Cletus R. Hohn. She was preceded in death by her mother, father, sister and brother. Idell Howard is her only surviving sibling. Marlene and Cletus resided in Somerset, Calif., for the past 18 years. They have four children, Yvonne Bonham (Ed) of Quincy, Calif., Ron Hohn (Terrie) of Cool, Calif., Vicki Pierson (Lon) of Sacramento, Calif., and Steve Hohn of Somerset, Calif.; 10 grandchildren, Erika, Ryan, Craig, Michael, Amanda, Sean, Sarah, Chris, Daniel and Corey; and a great-grandson, Greyson, to be born around Aug. 3.
Marlene was very devoted to her number one job as a homemaker. In her spare time she played on a co-ed volleyball team. She crocheted, sewed clothes for her family and made an assortment of crafts. She loved bowling, was an avid reader and loved gardening as well as her plants. She enjoyed camping and the outdoors. She also loved all the critters in nature and often would feed the birds peanuts out of her hand. Most of all, she loved her husband, children and grandchildren.
Her funeral mass will be held at St. Patrick Parish in Placerville, Calif.
