Martha is survived by her husband of 58 years, Gale of Shingle Springs, Calif.; daughter, Paula Simms (Bob) of Placerville, Calif.; sister, Josephine Rogillio of Terrell, Texas; and brother, Thomas Ramsey of Hot Springs, Ariz. This blonde-haired, blue-eyed Texan moved to California in 1954, when she met and married the love of her life. She worked various clerical jobs, but mainly was a homemaker and caring wife and mother.
After suffering from osteoporosis and many broken bones over the years, Martha’s body finally could no longer sustain itself, and she passed away peacefully in the early morning of July 6, 2013, at Marshall Hospital in Placerville. A private service will be held on July 13, at Lakewood Memorial Park in Hughson, Calif.
