Our beautiful mother passed away early Monday morning. Her children, Roger, Mitzi, Jane and Kristen mourn this loss yet feel great joy for her full, well-lived life. Thank you, Mom, we are proud of you. With our enduring love and respect, God Bless your journey Home.
Mary Jean (Newman), native of Warsaw, Mo., was a graduate of El Dorado High School (1940). She loved Placerville and with her husband Rex returned to live there in retirement from 1976-2005, after raising their family in Sacramento. She was very active and socially involved throughout her life. Mary Jean was blessed with, and deeply appreciated, a loving inter-generational family and many precious friends and neighbors.
There will be a private internment and, at a later date, a celebration of life.
