Mike Cline, 66, passed away peacefully in his Redding home on August 9, 2013, after a brave struggle with small cell lung cancer. He was born in Oakland, California and spent most of his life in El Dorado County.
Mike is survived by his two loving daughters, Kelly Cline and Brandi Reid of Placerville; his two adoring grandsons, Justin and Jackson; his brother Roger Cline of Sun Valley, Idaho; and his wife, Dee Cline of Redding. He was preceded in death by his mother, Melba Clemens; his father, Frank Cline; and his first wife and dear friend, Linda Cline.
Mike worked many years in the construction business, as well as bartending. He loved sports and golfing was his passion. Above all, he was a family man, who lived for his children and grandchildren. Nothing made him happier than playing catch with his grandsons.
Mike was a loving father, son, husband, and grandpa. He was dearly loved and will be missed greatly by all that knew him. At his request, no services will be held.
