Mildred Nead (Millie), born Dec. 3, 1920, in San Francisco, Calif., passed away peacefully at hospice in LaGrange, Ga., on June 30, 2013, with her family at her side. A longtime resident of Placerville, Calif., she was preceeded in death by her husband, Philip Nead; and daughter, Karen Garner. She is survived by two sons and one daughter, Dean and Lysa Nead, Steven and Teresa Nead and Lauree and Steve Cavender. She had 16 grandchildren, 39 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren on the way.
A memorial service for Millie will be held on Aug. 24, at 11 a.m., at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Placerville Building.
