Nancy passed away peacefully at home in Carmichael with her lifemate, Bill Herd, by her side. She was born in Placerville, and was a long time Shingle Springs resident. She leaves behind four children; numerous grandchildren; nieces and nephews; three brothers; and one sister. She will be missed greatly by her family and many dear friends.
A memorial service honoring her life will be held on Jan. 14, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m., at Lions Gate Hotel Banquet Room at McClellan Park, 3410 Westover Street in Sacramento, Calif. In lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to Snowline Hospice.
