Pappas, Nicholas, aged 64, born Nov. 9, 1946, to John and Amelia Pappas of San Francisco, Calif., passed away after a brief stint with cancer on Feb. 8, 2011, at his home in El Dorado Hills with his wife of 30 years Vicki at his side.
Recently retired from Dap, Inc. Nick was an avid bowler and golfer and loved organizing his family reunions. He is survived by his loving wife, Vicki; father-in-law, George Hughes; sons, Scott Johns (Jillian) and Dr. James Nichols (Amy); and grandchildren, Blake and Violet Johns and Bobby, Sam and Madyison Nichols. He is also survived by his brother, John Pappas (Robin); sisters, Barbara Plexico (Fred), Pamela Freshour (Bill), Deborah Keller (Dan) and Patricia Spriggs (George); and numerous family and friends. Nick will be greatly missed by all.
