Patricia Ann Cowles, born March 7, 1926, in Oklahoma, went to be with Jesus Christ, on June 9, 2014. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Harvey Cowles. She is survived by her daughters, Kathleen and Grace; son, Mark; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Pat, known as “Aunt Pat,” served the Lord as a missionary pastor’s wife. In addition to church ministries, Uncle Harvey and Aunt Pat directed the Forward Bible Conference for nearly 40 years. She wrote Sunday School materials for Union Gospel Press. She was loved by all and passed peacefully, surrounded by family.
Burial will take place at the military cemetery in Dixon on Thursday, June 26, at 12:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held at the Highway Bible Church, 6420 Mother Lode Drive in Placerville, on Saturday, June 28, at 11 a.m.
