Pauline Gordon

Nov. 29, 1917 — March 10, 2014

Pauline W. Gordon passed away peacefully at Eskaton Village in Placerville, surrounded by her family, on March 8, 2014. She was predeceased by her husband, the love of her life, Albert (1999). She was the loving mother of Sherry (Madak Kadam) Gordon of Sedona, Ariz., and Judith (Tom) Dillon of Placerville; beloved sister of Mary Frances McHam of Texas; and devoted grandmother of Matthew (Kristin Kelley) Rothwell.

Pauline was born in Wichita Falls, Texas, on Nov. 29, 1917. Albert passed away after 57 years of marriage, and several years later Pauline moved to Placerville, first to Gold Country Retirement Community in 2006 and then to Eskaton Village in 2010. She was known for her sharp humor and was a beautiful painter of china. She was a creative and loving mother and grandmother.

Private inurnment has been held and a celebration of Pauline’s life was held at Eskaton Village earlier this week.
