Robert “Bob” Austin Warden was born in Diamond Springs, Calif., on April 29, 1929, and died at his home in Pollock Pines, Calif., on Jan. 27, 2013. Bob was a lifelong resident who worked many years at the local Pino Vista Dairy and who served his country bravely in the Korean War. He was preceded in death by his precious wife, Audrey; and his parents, Marian A. and Earl F. Warden Sr. He was a devoted father to his children, Llana Shaver, Bill and Kathy Warden, Daryl and Lori Warden and Phyllis and Mickey Morlan; and a loving grandfather to eight grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Earl Warden; and his sister, June Smith.
Bob will be greatly missed by all who knew him. Graveside services will be held Friday, Feb. 1, at 2 p.m., at Westwood Hills Cemetery. The family requests that donations be made to Snowline Hospice in lieu of flowers. Online condolences may be posted at chapelofthepinesfunerals.com.
