Roger J. Haviland, 89, of El Dorado Hills, Calif., passed away Sunday, June 17, 2012. Roger was born Dec. 15, 1922, in Milwaukee, Wis. He was the son of George and Clara Vahl Haviland. He is survived by his daughter, Lisa Hammett of McKinney, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dawn E. Haviland.

A memorial service celebrating Rogers’s life will be held Sunday, June 24. For details contact Lisa Hammett at 214-725-7650 or e-mail Lisa.hammett@att.net. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in Rogers’s name to the American Cancer Society at cancer.org.
