Rosmary Sorensen was born on Feb. 10, 1921, in Topeka, Kan., and passed away on Feb. 2, 2011, in Placerville, Calif., just eight days shy of her 90th birthday. She lived a wonderful, full life. She was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother and friend to so many. She loved art, painting, and worked in the art/greeting card industry for many years.
Rosmary was preceded in death by her husband, Calvin E. Sorensen, and is survived by her daughters, Rebecca Perry (husband Jim) and Christine Sorensen; and one grandson, Michael Perry. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects by attending a visitation on Tuesday, Feb. 8, from 3 to 4 p.m., and the Funeral Service immediately following at 4 p.m., at Chapel of the Pines, 2855 Cold Springs Road in Placerville, Calif.
Rosmary left a note wherein she stated how much she appreciated and wanted to thank all of the great people who touched her life.
