April 11, 1943 — Nov. 20, 2010
Sandra K. Dreyer (Brooks), of Shingle Springs, Calif., died Saturday, Nov. 20, 2010, in Marshall Medical Center after a short fight against respiratory disease. Her family was at her side. Born in St. Paul, Minn., April 11, 1943, to William and Evelyn Brooks, Sandra was a second generation book keeper who also owned her own boutique business.
Sandra was a lifelong seamstress, making clothes and costumes for family and friends alike. She opened her home to many people, taking care of grandchildren, nephews and foster children after she had raised her own children. She chose to live out her days in Northern California because she loved the people, the scenery and the animals.
Sandra is survived by her children, Monte, Jeffrey, Robert, Suzanne, Brad and Scott; her sister, Patricia; her grandchildren, Ashley, Michael, Jacob, Dyane, Monte Jr. and Samantha; and her nieces and nephews, Lori, Linda, Todd, Lonnie, Wes, Lonny, Tony and Annie.
No funeral service will be held.
