Sean Kevin Guillory, born in Carmichael, Calif., passed away in Placerville, Calif. He was the beloved great-grandson, grandson, son, brother, nephew, uncle, cousin and best friend to many. He is laid to rest with the angels now.
Sean touched so many lives in his short 22 years of life. From the time he was a toddler, he had bunches of friends on Air Force bases from Mather and McClellan to Dover Air Force Base in Delaware. In his younger school age years, he played soccer for Folsom soccer club for five years, as well as basketball and little league baseball. His favorite sport had to be volleyball. He played all four years at Ponderosa, where he graduated in 2010.
After high school, Sean went after his passion and enjoyed various outdoor volleyball tournaments. He was also a very active member of the local sports club in Shingle Springs, where he would enjoy a pickup game of basketball and a soak in the hot tub. Many of you may know him from Food 4 Less, Nugget Market, Red Hawk Casino, McDonald’s, In-n-Out and Chipotle. He enjoyed the camaraderie that was shared by all of you.
Services will be held on Wednesday April 9, at the Green Valley Mortuary, 3004 Alexandrite Drive in Rescue, Calif. A viewing will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. The service starts at 11. Following the service, there will be a luncheon at the LDS Church, 3431 Hacienda Road in Cameron Park, Calif.
