Sharon Heasley

March 19, 1947 — May 23, 2014

Sharon “Shari” Marie Heasley, 67, passed away peacefully in her sleep on May 23, 2014, while at her residence in Pollock Pines, Calif., after a fatal spread of untreatable cancer. She was in the care of her family and Hospice. She is survived by her loving husband and best friend of 42 years, Thomas Robert Heasley; son, Erik; daughter, Amee; daughter-in-law, Sarah; brother, John; and two grandchildren, Kael and Tori.

Shari was a hard worker who dedicated 18 years to Ashland before she retired. Before Ashland she spent two decades working with children and changing their lives as a daycare teacher. After retirement, she and Tom moved to Pollock Pines to live out their retirement. She was very active in her personal life, hobbies and her church. She loved fishing with Tom and her kids, hanging out with her family and volunteering her Sundays to her church’s Sunday school program.

Shari will always hold a special place in many of our hearts and her memory will always be with us. Here is to a wonderful wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend.
