Terence (Terry) Courtenay Tetherton of Carson City, Nev., passed away on Nov. 11, 2010, at his home with his family by his side. He was born in Dorking Surrey, England, on Dec. 6, 1952, and came to this country at the age of 14.
Terry was a wonderful husband, father, brother, grandfather and friend. For those who had the great pleasure of knowing him, you always knew that he would be there for you if you needed him. He was an honest, hardworking man who could always be counted on. Terry loved life and enjoyed being with his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his time camping and fishing with his beloved wife of 36 years, Jane. Jane, by the way, introduced Terry to the outdoors when they first met.
Terry is preceded in death by his father, Cyril F. Tetherton. He is survived by his mother, Betty Tetherton of Poway, Calif.; his wife, Jane Tetherton of Carson City, Nev.; daughter, Leanne and husband Jason with granddaughters Charlotte and Ramona of Bakersfield, Calif.; sister, Kay; brothers, Ray and Brad; and numerous nieces and nephews.
We all miss him dearly.
