Tim passed away peacefully with his family around him following a brief illness. He is survived by his wife, Janice; daughter, Elizabeth; son, Jonathan; step-sons, Collin and Clayton Warden; granddaughter, Lainee Warden; parents, Harry and Judy DeWolf; stepmother, Lorine Petty; twin brother, Scott (Lynne); sisters, Vicki Elliott (Wayne), Kelly Boudreau (Mike Hale); step-brothers, Dan DeWolf (Kelly), Ray Groves (Denise) and Jeff Groves (Teresa Shaw); step-sisters, Janet DeWolf (Paul LaMere)and Judy DeWolf (Alan Supan); and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Petty.
Tim worked as a paver for Bill Edwards Excavating for more than 20 years. He then worked for Doug Veerkamp and most recently he worked at C.T.L. as a log truck driver for Jeff Holland and Kirk Furlong-Wentworth. Spending time with his family was always his first priority and joy. He was a passionate and accomplished outdoorsman his entire life. He fished and hunted as often as he could in both California and his beloved Idaho, where he leaves many dear friends, including Ruth Dewhurst and Darrell and Ann Brown.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, Nov. 30, from 1 to 5 p.m., in the Marshall Reception Hall located at the El Dorado County Fairgrounds, 100 Placerville Drive in Placerville, Calif. in lieu of flowers donations may be made to your favorite hunting organization.
