Violet May (Costa) Davidson passed away peacefully at her home in Pollock Pines after a long illness. She was born in San Jose, Calif., to her late parents Manual and Anne Costa. She lived in the San Jose area until moving to Pollock Pines in 1986.
Violet is survived by her husband, William O. (Dave) Davidson; two brothers, Ernest Costa of Placerville and Harold Costa of San Jose; four children, Mary Janet, Michael, Linda and Bill; six grandchildren, Shauna, Jamie, Tabatha, Ashlee, William and Ian; and five great-grandchildren, Haylee, Samantha, Cali, Jordan and Adriana.
She managed to be a loving mother and a working mother. Violet retired as an Officer Manager for the San Martin Winery in San Martin, Calif.
Memorial services will be held at the Veterans Memorial Building at 130 Placerville Drive in Placerville, Calif., on Saturday, Sept. 29. Services will be at 12 p.m., with a reception to follow. In lieu of flowers please make a donation Marshall Hospital in Placerville, Calif.
