William Leroy Jones was born in Tulsa, Okla., on May 25, 1945, and left this earth for his journey onward on Sept. 5, 2012, in Tulsa, Okla. He was a veteran of Vietnam.
William was preceded in death by his mother and step-father, Ada and Jim Montgomery of Tulsa; and his father, William A. Jones of Lotus, Calif. He is survived by his wife, Bonna of Porter, Okla.; children, Vicki Zwirtz, Sandra Scott of Porter and Billy Lee Jones of Tulsa; and many grandchildren, all of whom he adored. He is also survived by his step-mom, Mary Jones Cary, sisters, Kristine Rankin, Margaret Jones and Donna Foster and brother, David Jones, all of Lotus; sister, Susan Lewis of Carson City, Nev.; and many nieces and nephews. He will be missed by all those who loved him for so many years.
Services and burial will be at Ft. Gibson Military Cemetery in Oklahoma.
