Nicely written Dan. We have 3 kids. 18, 15 and 13. All had phones by age 9. They are aware we monitor internet usage, texts and phone calls. I am fine with our kids having Facebook, phones, xbox live etc. As long as their grades do not suffer. And strong parenting is critical in any day or age in order for kids to succeed.
