Let me tell ya, all that new equipment and the upgraded facilities sure is nice. But make no mistake, the same degenerate drunks and drug abusers and criminals will be frequenting those halls as well. The police in Placerville use the ER as a drunk/drug tank. They routinely drop off drunks instead of incarcerating them at the jail. It is disgusting. It really is not fair to the staff and other patients. These same people use the ER as a revolving door for their drug addiction. My spouse has been assaulted, threatened, had feces thrown at her, threats against her and her family and more. The next time you are at the ER give a big THANK YOU to the dedicated men and women that serve us.
