I pay my taxes and I don’t burn crosses

By November 17, 2010

Every day I continue to be amazed at the lack of rationale that the Liberal Left showS about the Tea Party movement, specifically, the love and the passion we have for America and the respect that we have for the Constitution. Rob Purdie’s letter of Nov. 3 is another example of the narrow mindset that  liberals display. If you don’t understand it, call it racist. If you can’t comprehend it, create false ideologies about them.
I am a proud member of the Tea Party movement and along with that, a willing taxpayer. I’ve searched high and low for Tea Party doctrine that advocates not paying taxes and cross burnings, but I’m sure I misplaced that manual somewhere. Wink, wink. If one is to question and argue ideologies, then one must at least come to the table knowing what they are talking about.
The best part about conversing with a liberal is, and I quote, “It isn’t that liberals are ignorant, it’s just that they know so much that isn’t so.” You make debating fun and easy.
The Tea Party has every God given right to conduct a peaceful free assembly to promote and preserve the one document that sets us aside from every country on Earth.
Get used to it — we’re not going away until America is fixed.
