Hi Ken, I’m glad someone is asking questions. This goes back 9 years, just follow the money. The 48% wage increase is archived in the Mountain Democrat. Who were the Supes who voted for the wage increase? Where was the outrage from Harn? It’s not follow the money it’s follow your and my money,we the taxpayers.

sunshine, LAFCO only covers 2.5 employees? Harn has BFF’s on the BOS? Harn created the pension problem? Harn has a BFF? Hard to follow or comprehend.

To quote Mike Raffety “Shenanigans, wiley and dubious conduct, “Mischevious nonsense,and self dealing”. This sounds like Joe Harn. His past history of self dealing is enormous. While padding his and all elected officials salary and pensions going back to 2004 to the tune of 48% he has little justification to complain about LAFCO. When he is instrumental in getting his BFFs on the Board of supervisors to buy into his plan he created a gigantic burden for the taxpayers in salary increases and unfunded pensions. The Mountain Demo should do a little investigation on Harn and stop being his PR vehicle. I’ve been told Lafco covers 2.5 employees, while Harn’s plan
covered 100′s of county employees. Did you ever wonder how we got to the $200,000 pensions for retiring elected officials?

" . . . what is the expense of making up for over a year of not paying into CalPERS for two LAFCO employees? What penalty payment comes with that?" . . . LAFCO, what IS the expense? Is there a pending answer to this question?
