Lou Barber belongs on fire board

By October 26, 2010

EDITOR:

I would like to express my complete support for Lou Barber who is a candidate for the El Dorado Hills fire board. As a general rule, I do not come out publicly and support local candidates running for office. In Lou’s case, I am making an exception.

He is simply one of the finest men I have ever known. His character speaks for itself and he has been endorsed by El Dorado Hills firefighters to run for their board.

Lou and his wife Vicki have lived in our community for nearly 30 years, donating a tremendous amount of their time and resources helping to make our community a better, stronger place to live in. Lou is a fiscal conservative, having assisted hundreds of school districts in developing cost containment practices and developing balanced budgets. He has proven leadership at both local and statewide levels, having served as a school administrator at the top levels of county government and the state Department of Education.

I hope you will support this fine man as I know Lou will be an excellent member of the fire board. Every vote matters and I hope you will vote for Lou Barber for the El Dorado Hills fire board this November.
