No to Prop 40

And finally, just to really confuse voters there is Proposition 40. We’ll confess to some bafflement ourselves.

Here’s the deal. The Republicans didn’t like the way the Senate districts were drawn up by the Citizens Redistricting Commission. Then they later said, “Oh, never mind.”

So, if you like the way the commission drew up the Senate districts, vote yes. If  you don’t and think the Republicans got the short end of the stick, vote no.

What we like about this measure is a no vote doesn’t change this election but the state Supreme Court would be in charge of redrawing Senate districts. The last time the courts drew new political boundaries was during the Wilson administration. The court did a real fine job and we would like to see the courts do it again.

We suggest a no vote on Proposition 40.

    This is hilarious. Even the CA Republican Party suggests a Yes on 40.
