I didn’t mention green beans in my column. My wife started buying cut green beans as a supplement. He loves them! He’s currently getting a weight control dog food by Longevity.

Looks and smells good and he seems to enjoy it but now that we’ve cut down on his portions he’ll eat just about anything falling on the kitchen floor.

We feed our dogs Newman’s Organic. The things in there are so wholesome that I’m tempted to have a bowl myself. My wife often adds Greek yogurt with honey and cut green beans. Dogs are eating better than I am.

Mr. Esposito, believe it or not the organic pet food market is one of the fastest growing segments in a billion dollar a year industry. I was surprised to learn this but there are pet owners who spend more time thinking and planning their pet’s diet then their own. Understanding this makes the seemingly incomprehensible at least a little more logical.
