What a great community effort put together in short order by community leaders who know how to get things done.
We especially take notice of Gordon Vicini, Jim Carter and Ron Thompson. Get those three together and an event will happen. Joining this trio is a long list of other community leaders helping to plan this event and guarantee its success.
To offer a raffle prize, just drop it off at Thompson’s Toyota on Forni Road. To make a donation or buy a ticket, make your check to the El Dorado Community Foundation, PO Box 1388, Placerville or drop it off at 312 Main Street, Suite 201. Tickets are $10 per person or $25 per family.
Tickets are on sale here at the Mountain Democrat, 2889 Ray Lawyer Drive, right across the street from Raley’s. Other Placerville ticket locations include Thompson’s; MORE at 399 Placerville Drive; Stymeist Auto Body, 3949 Highway 49; the El Dorado County Chamber of Commerce, 542 Main Street; and in El Dorado Hills at that community’s chamber of commerce office, 2085 Vine Street.

Thanks for putting this fundraiser together fast. Help the Sand Fire victims by buying dinner tickets.
