Thanks for helping with the passing of ‘Mom’

By November 10, 2010

This is an open letter from Loren Buck to the friends of LaVana E. Buck — known as “Mom” to all. I would like to thank the following people who responded to Mom’s death: First, Tom and Eva Tornell for all the help they provided to both of us. Next, Karl and Jennifer, Ed and Ann, the Gravland family, Steve and Barbara, the Hopkins family, deputy sheriff Eric Harnage, the folks at Sierra Manor and all of the people at Chapel of the Pines who made Mom’s passing a lot easier.

I know there are more I should mention, but I can’t do it now.

Mom lived a full and enjoyable life. Always helping all others, at 96 years young she saw all of the things that we now take for granted.

Again, thank you.
