I found Chris Daley’s Nov. 12 column on our alleged loss of freedoms since Obama’s election very insightful and entertaining. He’s a level above your other columnists. Upon further pondering, I was more concerned about loss of freedoms under the previous administration, such as the civil liberties-defying Patriot Act, than I am under the current administration.
Right now I’m more concerned about domestic extremists who are terrorists disguised as “patriots” threatening the use of First Amemdment remedies if they don’t get their way at the ballot box. As an ex-preschool teacher, I say these extremists are in serious need of an extended “time out.”
