Sacramento Theater Company is proud to introduce the cast of “Bark! — The Musical.”

Armond Edward Dorsey is King, the Labrador retriever.
Jessica Goldman is Boo, the Cocker spaniel.
Miranda D. Lawson is Golde, the bull dog.
Sean Patrick Nill is Sam, the pit bull mutt.
Tyler Wipfli is Chanel, the French poodle.
Scottie Woodward is Rocks, the Jack Russell pup.

“Bark!” is a howlingly funny, fast-paced and poignant tribute to man’s best friend. Told and sung from the dog’s point of view — from the little puppy who yearns to bark like a real dog, to an opera singing poodle and a street mutt who raps — this musical possesses the huge heart and the playful joyfulness present in man’s truest friends.

Previews run through Saturday, Jan. 12 at 2 p.m. Tickets for previews are available at the special rate of $30 for adults, $25 for seniors and $15 for students.

Opening night is Saturday, Jan. 12 at 8 p.m. There will be a special post performance reception with the above cast following the performance.

“BARK! — The Musical” runs through Sunday, Feb. 17 at 1419 H St. in Sacramento.

STC’s School of the Arts presents its Winter Ensemble Musical — “Wonderland!”

Performed by 6 to 12 year old rising stars, “Wonderland!” is a fun adaptation of Lewis Carroll’s “Through the Looking Glass.”

With hip-hopping music, it is an upbeat, coming-of-age story that audiences of all ages will adore. The audience will recognize favorite familiar characters from “Alice in Wonderland.”

Performances run Jan. 17 to 20. For tickets call 916-443-6722.

Ease on Down the Road with STC for a fast-paced evening of songs from favorite Broadway shows like, “The Wiz,” “Memphis” and “Chicago.” STC’s Cabaret Series, now in its’ sixth season offers performances in the intimate Cabaret stage in a relaxed atmosphere featuring candle-lit tables. Wine is available from our sponsor Revolution Wines.
