Activities galore in Cameron Park

The Cameron Park Community Services District has a variety of events this weekend.

There is a Community Clean Up Day on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. There will be bins at Camerado Springs Middle School, 2480 Merrychase Drive in Cameron Park. Bring clean unwanted junk out of garages, clean yards of unwanted clippings and tree trimmings and properly dispose of bulk items.

Members of the Cameron Park Fire Explorers Program will be volunteering at this event and collecting tax deductible donations.

The Cameron Park Swap Meet is Saturday, Oct. 6 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive in Cameron Park.

Prepare for a day of fun either selling treasures or hunting for new ones. The swap meet will happen rain or shine and is free to attend.

There is a composting class on Saturday, Oct. 6 from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive in Cameron Park.

Everything you want to know about composting but are afraid to ask will be covered at this free class that is open to the public.

The Health Expo is Wednesday, Oct. 10 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive in Cameron Park.

Enjoy a day of health and wellness with a variety of vendors, new products and many different options to improve your quality of life. Admission is free.

The Halloween Carnival and Pumpkin Patch is Saturday, Oct. 20 from 1:30 to 4 p.m. at Cameron Park Lake, 2989 Cambridge Road in Cameron Park.

Put on a costume and come on down to Cameron Park Lake for an afternoon of Halloween fun. There will be old fashioned carnival games with prizes, pumpkin patch maze, crafts, costume parade, food, refreshments and more.

Admission is free.

The Old-Fashioned Christmas Craft Fair is Saturday, Nov. 17 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cameron Park Community Center, 2502 Country Club Drive in Cameron Park.

Many vendors will be on hand selling those hard to find unique holiday gifts.

The fair is free to the public and is full of great gift ideas for friends and loved ones. The fair goes from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Cameron Park Community Center.
