Allisa Paige and Jonathan Ward engaged

Allisa Paige of Sacramento and Jonathan Ward, also of Sacramento, have announced their engagement to be married.

The bride to be is the daughter of Phil and Kelly Paige of Sun River, Ore., and is a 2003 graduated from Bainbridge Island High School in Bainbridge Isle, Ore. She attended Central Washington University. Allisa is employed by Smile Business Products in Sacramento and handles government accounts.

The groom elect is the son of Michael and Fran Ward of Placerville. He is a 1999 El Dorado High School and earned a political science degree from Sonoma State University in 2004. He is employed as a manager by Apple Computers in Elk Grove.

The couple met as neighbors in San Diego where both were working before relocating to Sacramento. Jonathan proposed to Allisa on her birthday at Irish Beach, the scene of many happy vacations for his family.

Their wedding is planned for Sept. 10 at the Ice Lakes Lodge in Soda Springs.
