Alums show work at Sacramento State

California State University, Sacramento State has produced some great artists over the years. This year, 16 former students will display their works at the Art Alumni Show in Kadema Hall’s Robert Else Gallery.

The shows are unique each year and this one features paintings in a wide range of media — acrylics, oils, watercolors — as well as photography, handmade paper and found objects.

The show is juried and the pieces will be reviewed by Sac State art professor Rachel Clarke.

A reception and awards presentation will be held from 5-8 p.m. on Friday, June 6.

The free exhibit is sponsored by the Art Alumni Chapter of the Sac State Alumni Association and runs from 11 a.m.-3 p.m. June 3-27, Monday through Friday.

For more information call the art department at 916-278-6166.
