"GOOD DAY SUNSHINE" by Randy Honerlah

Brighten up your spring — plan to attend the Placerville Arts Association Spring Member Art Show.

This judged fine art show will be on display daily Monday, April 8 to Friday, April 12 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the El Dorado County Government Center, Building B, 360 Fair Lane in Placerville.

PAA artists are recognized across the country for their award-winning works of art.

The public is invited to take part in a raffle that supports the PAA scholarship fund. There will be a drawing on Friday, April 12 where the winner will take home a fine art piece contributed by a PAA member.

The show will feature diverse two-dimensional works of art from realism to abstract and experimental. Works of art in watercolor, oil, pastel, charcoal, acrylic, pencil, photography, digital art and mixed media in categories of seascape, landscape, portrait, still life, animals, miniatures and experimental will enhance the walls of this beautiful venue.

The PAA is dedicated to promoting visual arts in the local community through art shows, exhibitions, art demonstrations, workshops, scholarships and art oriented field trips.

The public is cordially invited to enjoy this free event. An awards reception will be held at the show on Friday, April 12 at 4 p.m.

For updated information visit the PAA Website placervillearts.com or call 530-621-2788.
