Art classes for children at Rinconart Studio

By From page B4 | October 11, 2013

Join Rinconart Studio and Gallery, 440 Main St. in Placerville, for a fun-filled lesson in fine art.

The Saturday classes feature local teaching artists from the Sacramento and Placerville area who teach young aspiring artists about the wonderful world of art.

Students, ages 6-12, will be introduced to a variety of techniques such as drawing, painting and more. Children will use both their imagination and observation skills to discover their individual styles and enjoy creating in the gallery’s classroom, surrounded by the work of local successful artists.

Classes will be on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to noon. Classes are limited to 12 students per session.

All materials and refreshment are provided.

Parents must sign a release and appropriate registration paperwork.

The gallery will welcome one or more students when they have pre-registered seven days in advance. If there are no sign-ups seven days prior, the class will be cancelled.

For more information and to sign up visit the gallery during business hours or e-mail [email protected] to make phone arrangements.
