Artist reception for Tony Mindling

By From page B13 | September 06, 2013

On Sunday, Sept. 8 Art On the Divide Gallery will be holding its monthly celebration of a featured artist.

Tony Mindling is a photographer who has recently begun using photographs as inspirations for his watercolors. A few of his new photos and watercolors will be displayed side by side for comparison.

Also on display will be some of his wildlife photographs and other subjects where the play of light inspires the click of a shutter.

To view his artistic style and the range of his subjects visit his Website at tonysvision.com. A new selection of Mindling’s work will be featured at AODC throughout the month of September.

An artist reception with complimentary refreshments will be held from 1 to 5 p.m at the cozy gallery in historical Georgetown, 6295 Main St., between the fire station and the American River Inn.

September hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Friday through Sunday.

For more information call 333-2787 (ARTS) or visit the Website at artonthedivide.com.
