Lake Valley

Mr. (Lucky) Baldwin and G. L. M. Comstock of the Tallac House are about to build a trail for saddle horses along the side and to the top of the Tallac mountain. It will afford a magnificent ride for their guests, and give a romantic view. People coming from San Francisco to the Lake invariably first ascend to the lofty summit of Tallac.

N. Gilmore and daughter, with others at the Glen Alpine Springs, are about to make a trip among the many lakes of this vicinity. They will also camp out all night on Mount Tallac, in order to see the sun rise in all his glory.

H. Tinney, from Gold Hill, was here with a load of fruit on Sunday, and did well.
