Wine and soup

The south Fair Play wineries are serving Soups of the World on Saturday, Feb. 16 from 10:45 a.m to 5 p.m. Six wineries— Bechard, Chateau Routon, Golden Leaves, Mellowood, Mount Aukum and Sierra Oaks — are serving wonderful soups with wonderful wine. Besides wine tasting there will be artisan breads and snacks, with each winery’s soups. The soup ticket includes a souvenir glass, recipe booklet and a full day of fun. A “culinary” guide will accompany you throughout the day and the Red Packet game gives all participants a chance to win prizes, including a case of wine.
