Big Brothers Big Sisters of El Dorado County (BBBS) has been chosen to partner with this year’s Niello Concours at Serrano — the classic and luxury car show — held in El Dorado Hills on the green at the Serrano Visitors Center, 4525 Serrano Parkway, on Sunday, Oct. 7.
Big Brothers Big Sisters will benefit from the proceeds of 200 general admission tickets on sale now at the BBBS Website, mentor4youth.org, or by calling the office at 530-626-1222.
Advance tickets to the event are $35 each. Tickets at the door will be $45. Children 12 and under are free with a paid adult.
BBBS volunteers will be on hand at the concours to discuss the programs with attendees and recruiting mentors for the more than 40 El Dorado County children awaiting someone to help them discover their potential and just have fun.
“Our participation in this event provides BBBS with a great opportunity to promote our important mentoring and educational programs. We are so thankful to the organizers of the Niello Concours at Serrano for this chance to further our mission and for their generosity in letting us keep the proceeds from our ticket sales,” said Judy Knapp, executive director of BBBS.
“By purchasing tickets through us, you can help youth and families in our own community,” added Knapp.
To purchase tickets or get more information call Big Brothers Big Sisters at 530-626-1222 or e-mail info@mentors4youth.org.

The seventh annual Niello Concours at Serrano will again display over 200 fine motorcars, featuring the Marque of Pierce-Arrow, celebrating 50 years of the Cobra and honoring Carroll Shelby.
The event will include a fashion show and an awards presentation and is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Free parking is available on site.
