Blues and rock at the Harris Center

On Friday, March 14, at the Harris Center for the Arts, fans can watch what happens when a blues and rock icon, a living legend of the blues and a rising roots music star unite forces.

It will be a night of good music and great vibes all presided over by the good-humored and congenial ringleader and headliner Elvin Bishop, Grammy Award winner and blues Hall of Famer James “Superharp” Cotton, and Ruthie Foster, female Blues Artist of the Year in the 2013 Living Blues Awards Critic’ Poll, her second win of this category.

The performance is at 7:30 p.m. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. at the Harris Center, 10 College Parkway in Folsom.

Tickets are $25, $35 or $45 and are available at

A portion of the proceeds from this event will benefit the Sacramento Blues Society’s Blues in the Schools program.
