Bottle your own and save

By From page B6 | November 08, 2013

Become a winemaker for the day and bottle your own wine.

Join the staff at Charles B. Mitchell Vineyards, 8221 Stoney Creek Road in Fair Play, on Nov. 8 to 11 for the fall 2013 bottle-your-own event.

Everyone will get the opportunity to play vintner for the day and bottle the 2011 Fair Play Merlot, 2012 Fair Play Zinfandel and 2009 Fair Play Petite Sirah.

This is the perfect time to stock up on these favorites with great discounts all weekend. Bottle-your-own wines are only $6.99 per bottle by the case and $9.99 by the bottle when purchased in quantities less than a case.

Bottlers can bring their own clean 750 ml bottles or use new bottles available for .75 cents each and the corks and labels are available.

Bottling can be hard work so the fire-belching pizza oven will be stoked-up for a pizza feast.
