Cameron Park CSD offers many programs

Cameron Park Community Services District hosts bridge every Monday from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the community center, 2502 Country Club Drive. The district is looking for more players to come and participate in this activity. There are mahjong lessons on the second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 1 to 3 p.m.

The CSD holds a monthly Coffee, Tea and Friends on Tuesday, May 14 from 10 to 11:30 a.m. in the social room of the community center. This month’s topic is “Brain Recovery.” Harry Dender, who was in a car accident five years ago, will discuss how he has recovered and what he has done to get back into a daily routine. Join the group every month on the second Tuesday of the month for this free meeting sponsored by Visiting Angels.

Tuesday, May 28 is Senior Game Day from 10 a.m. to noon in the social room of the community center. This is sponsored by the Cameron Park Newcomers Club. Enjoy the morning playing a variety of games including but not limited to – Mexican train, Crown 5, Yahtzee, pinochle and more. All seniors are welcome to the two hours of coffee, tea and games. Come and learn new games or play familiar games. Games are supplied or you may bring your own to share.
