This concert band has provided high quality music for thousands of concert-goers throughout Northern California and offers an entertaining evening of music.
The Capitol Pops Symphony has been performing since 1977. Based in Citrus Heights, the band has 71 musicians who represent a cross section of the area ranging from high school students to 99-year-old musicians. It has been under the leadership of Jerry Lopes since its inception.
Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music starts at 7 p.m.
Snacks and beverages are available for purchase. Advance tickets are $10 each and $18 for two or $12 each at the door. Tickets are available at the Cameron Park CSD office, 2502 Country Club Drive, Walgreens, Bel Air and the Shingle Springs/Cameron Park Chamber of Commerce and online at showclix.com.
