Rogar performs a blend of original and traditional folk, blues and country tunes. On the upcoming CD, she sings and plays the acoustic guitar. Farrell plays all the other instruments and Everett plays percussion.
There will be a CD release show for “The River” on Saturday, June 29 at 8 p.m. at Cozmic Café, 694 Main St. in Placerville, with the Jenn Rogar Band.
The band is made up of singer Rogar, Steve McLane on electric guitar, Ken Rabiroff on bass and Eric Everett on drums.
The popular El Dorado County duo Hickory Wind is also performing. Steve Schultz will be joining Fred and Cheryll Kent for the evening.
There is an $8 cover charge.
Her next CD, “Shasta” will be released soon and is produced by David Houston and Mike Farrell. It is a beautiful collaboration between a very talented group of artists.
